Incredibles 2 Re-Cap (as in I describe the whole plot quickly)

Incredibles 2 was....INCREDIBLE!!! Basically, the Incredibles mess up the fight with the Underminer, which angers politicians because of damage and stuff, and by the way are forced to live in a cheap motel because Bob/Mr. Incredible doesn't have a job. Violet's crush Tony sees her without her mask in her superhero costume, so Rick Dicker wipes his memory of that but also accidentally wipes his memory of Violet and their upcoming date. Bob/Mr. Incredible, Helen/Elastigirl, and Lucius/Frozone are approached by Winston Deavor and his sister Evelyn to change the law that makes supers illegal. They all agree and Elastigirl/Helen goes and rescues people from the "Screenslaver," (a villain who mind-controls people through screens) which makes supers look good. She also meets some sort-of supers who look up to Elastigirl. But that leaves Bob to take care of the kids. Violet is angry about Tony not remembering her, and Dash needs homework help. Also, Jack-Jack has 14 powers.

5-Month Calendar

This past week I was at my grandparents' house, and I decided to simplify the calendar by making each month have the same number of days. Now, I would need to change the number of months to do this, so I had to find the prime factorization of 365 (the number of days in a year). It is 5x73, so that means I could have 5 months with 73 days each! Now, I could have also done 73 months with 5 days each, but seriously ? Anyway, I decided to name the five months after the Greek roots for numbers: Monomber - "Mono" means one. Duomber - "Duo" means two. Triember - "Tri" means three. Tetramber - "Tetra" means four. Pentamber - "Pent" means five. (Speaking of Greek, my next post might be about Greek letters, such as Γ, Δ, Θ, Ξ, and more!) I decided that leap year would be at the end of Monomber, making a 74th day. It was all figured out! I calculated which days would be in which months: Monomber - Jan 1 to Mar 14 (Pi Day!) Duombe

The Medium Solstice

Hello! Today I will be starting a new blog! My name is Windleaf McOrange and apparently I'll be posting things here. Be sure to check this website frequently, if you want! (: Today was a hot summer day, as most days in June are. A few days ago, specifically June 20, I noticed that it was the summer solstice...which meant that it was the longest day of the year. By that, I don't mean it was over 24 hours or anything, but that there was more sunlight that day. (You know, the word "day" is kind of confusing if you think about it. Because it could mean the 24 hours between yesterday and tomorrow, OR it could mean the time when there is sunlight, as opposed to night. Those should really be two separate terms, but I guess they aren't.) Anyway, it occurred to me that since the summer solstice is when there is the most sunlight, and of course the winter solstice is when there is the LEAST sunlight, then there should be a medium day, where there is exactly the average s
